When will Full Version GW:EN be in ingame store? - Guild Wars Forums

Mostly I'm wondering when this we can purchase the whole enchilada. I'm hoping it will be either Wed or Thurs to avoid the potential crash and burn of the online store servers. Mostly I'm hoping they will be responsible enough to make sure this would not happen after using the extra mission promotion to make probably a majority of players use it.

I agree, it would be nice to have the ability to buy early as I see the online store crashing due to traffic (10k people trying to buy at once). Then a whole bunch of us will be left out in the cold till its fixed.

I know I should have more faith but I see this happen to online retailers quite often when a new exclusive product becomes available, they think everything will be fine only to find they couldn't handle the load.

I can't belive its out so soon. I was expecting in a couple of months... I was annoyed to come back from holiday to find out i missed the preview by one day. Anet seems to plan its events around my holidays as i always miss them.

Can't wait though as i am in a dip between games and it looks amazing.

From my understanding, GW:EN will be available on to buy in the online store at 12:01 am on the 31. This in my opinion is extremely irresponsible. They promote people to use the ingame store, but then set it up to crash and burn. I'm not saying I know the stores servers will go down, but just think about it, a sudden jump of traffic the moment "A new build of Guild Wars is now Available".
I'm not saying that this is like drowning babies in a bathtub, but it is like leaving a baby in a bathroom with a full tub. This is very neglectful, and if the stores servers crash at 12:02, then this will be more of a flop than the Hall of Monuments.
And if selling content that people can't access that moment is the problem, then why has stores sold box copies already, as much as a week early. And how hard is it to add a disclaimer in the online storage. "This content can not be accessed til 12:01 am, August 31", there just cut and paste that in the discription in red letters and your good to go.
This is in your best interest, people are already skeptical about using the ingame store, that why you added the mission promotion, but if the servers go down, I know I, and probably alot will agree with me, will never buy anything from it again. I might even say to heck with the extra missions, I'll buy a box copy, something reliable at least, or not buy it at all.

) but I can't understand why I can't pay for it now to avoid server chaos on the day of release.

I thought it would have made financial sense to allow payment in advance.
